Our Reconciliation Action Plan
Tackling inequality in Aboriginal health
We are committed to listening and respecting the voices of First Nations people. We all have a role in tackling inequity and working together to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal people in the region. Learn moreBeing a voice for generations
We are committed to ‘Closing the Gap’ in health outcomes for over 25,800 Aboriginal people on the lands of the Yuin, Dharawal, Ngunnawal/Ngambri and Ngarigo Nations. During National Reconciliation Week 2023, we had a yarn with Aboriginal Elders from communities across our region to listen to their stories and perspectives and record their responses to this year’s theme: ‘Be a Voice for Generations’. Over 11,500 people viewed their stories in our reconciliation week video.
Thank you to the Elders who shared their time, stories and hopes with us.
